It isn’t just about the adventure — it’s about impact. That’s why we’re proud to announce our sponsorship of the Mount Washington Observatory’s Seek the Peak 2025 fundraising event, where we will host a small group hike and a tour of the Mount Washington Observatory  here in our own back yard of New Hampshire. Seek the Peak supports the Mount Washington Observatory’s critical work in extreme weather research, forecasting, and education.

This is more than a hike.
It’s a chance to protect the landscapes we explore, support the science that keeps us safe, and ensure future generations can access the wild places we love.

Driving Mount Washington Auto Road
App for Audio Tour
Auto Road Website | Drive Yourself Page
Cost: $36 per adult, $15 per child aged 4-12, toddlers free

Drive up in your normal gear (“D”), and down in your lowest gear (“1”, “L” or “L1”). Driving down in low gear will allow your engine to help with the braking of the vehicle. When using your brakes, don’t “ride” your brakes unnecessarily. A pumping action of the foot pedal allows the brakes to run cooler than does a steady pressure. If you smell burnt rubber your brakes are overheating and you should use one of the many pull-offs along the road to stop and cool them.
