Payment Schedule Option
Down payment: $299 or other amount specified *Your adventure is reserved upon submission specified down payment and all necessary registration information via our Registration Page.
Payment 1: Half Your Balance *Due 4 months prior to departure.
Payment 2: Remainder of Balance *Due 3 months prior to departure.
If booking within 3 months of departure, the deposit and Payment 1 are due up front and balance is due within 2 weeks of departure.
If booking within 1.5 months of departure, the deposit, Payment 1, and Payment 2 are due up front.
Refund Policy
Down payment = Refundable until 1 month after submission.
Payment 1 = Refundable until Payment 2 is submitted.
Payment 2 = Refundable until 2 weeks prior to departure.
Refund Policy for Payments in Full
Fully refundable until 1 month after payment. All but $299 will be refundable until 3 months before departure. All but $1,299 refundable until 1 month prior to departure.*
Refund Policy for Self GuidedThrive Adventures
Self Guided Itinerary Development package fees are non-refundable.*
*Though we do have Policies in place and have the right to follow through with that policy, Thrive Adventures has no interest in keeping payments made without adventure travel services rendered. Some operators we work with do not give refunds. For example, the Peruvian government is the seller of all Inca Trail permits. These permits are non refundable and non transferable. Thrive Adventures will make every effort to return any payments made to us pending penalties on payments to other operators we have made on your behalf. Each refund request will be reviewed on a case by case basis with circumstantial awareness and care.
Cancellation Policy
This document serves to confirm that all Thrive Adventures payments are subject to refund even if the policy stated on Thrive Adventures trip documents say otherwise. Refunds will be determined on a case by case basis. Thrive Adventures is a small company that values customer service to the highest degree. Though refunds may not be legally necessary in any cancellation situation, it is the position of the company that all transactions are subject to refund at the discretion of owner Alan Macdonald at any moment no matter the policy documented.
